WHO AM I?

I am a finance man by profession and a coach by passion. I climbed the corporate ladder to become a CFO. I ‘had it all’ and yet, life felt unfulfilled. The idea of a larger company, a higher salary, a bigger title was not all that appealing. I knew something had to change, but what…? How…?

So, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery. I read books, did programs, talked to many people, and took on a variety of coaches. After many years of highs and lows, excitement and despondency, I have learnt and experienced a better way to live.

Life is full of paradoxes. We are called high achievers because of what we have accomplished, but in our heart life feels incomplete. We continuously upgrade our phones and laptops but neglect to upgrade the software of the grey matter that runs our life. Our lives are spent being busy as a bee, but decades pass by in the blink of an eye.

Formal education and apprenticeships equip us to earn our living, but no one shows us how to live with happiness and fulfillment.

I have become a professional certified coach, to pursue my passion of helping high achievers desiring fulfillment in life to leverage off my experience and “achieve” in months what took me years.

The Balance of Life

Outcome

Description

Everyone is unique. We start your transformation by uncovering what a balanced life means to you and understanding how the absence of balance leads to a less fulfilled life and discontentment.
Module two

Self Awareness – who am I?

Outcome

  • Understand how energy, emotions, values, strengths, etc, impact us.
  • Explore the triggers and patterns that run our life on auto-pilot.
  • Discover yourself with the aid of questionnaires and/or journals that lead to self-awareness.

Description

We discover how both our patterns and triggers as well as our values and strengths shape our actions. We learn to recognise when we are on auto-pilot (not self-aware), which prevents us from bringing our full selves into our lives.

Self Awareness – Reflection

Outcome

  • Discuss insights gained so far
  • What worked and what did not in becoming self-aware
  • How to enhance insights in the next week

Description

We delve deeper into the insights gained to identify root causes of our actions and emotions. We learn how to increase our level of self-awareness to gain more insights.

Self Mastery

  • Deep dive into insights to understand your thoughts and actions.
  • Build practical strategies to deal with the triggers and be in greater control of your actions.

Description

You will demystify the source of your actions (which are your own beliefs and patterns) that limit you and help you begin to overcome mental challenges.
Module five

The Impostor

Outcome

  • Uncover why you experience self-doubt even as a high achiever.
  • Develop strategies to overcome feelings of self-doubt and build confidence.

Description

Identify areas of your self-doubt and develop techniques to dissolve the Imposter Syndrome so that you expand your possibilities and confident thinking.
Module six

A better perspective

Outcome

  • Understand the small shifts in thought that make a huge difference.
  • Adopt techniques to change habits that actually work. 
  • Increase productivity, and reduce stress by embracing locus of control

Description

Identify the negative forces that currently drive you to high achievements (such as fear or stress) and learn what positive forces (such as striving for excellence over perfection) will better propel you to your high achievements and success.
